Care & Maintenance
HDPE Wicker Weave
Cleaning and maintenance
To keep your furniture looking amazing, clean regularly with mild detergent and warm water. Clearing out any dirt that might have been trapped in the weave will help prevent mildew. Shake out excess moisture after rinsing and allow to dry thoroughly before storing.
Removing stains, mildew, etc.
In case of stains or mildew, clean with a solution of warm water, mild laundry detergent, and chlorine bleach (no more than 1/4 cup per three gallons of water). Never use a solvent-type solution, though. Just don’t.
Insect repellents & suntan lotions
We don’t want you to suffer, but insect repellents and suntan lotions can reduce the life of HDPE, accelerate fading and stain fabrics. To avoid damage, clean these substances off with mild laundry detergent and warm water.
Iron frames
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean with warm, soapy water. Damage to the finish may lead to corrosion, so be sure to touch up with paint (available on this site) immediately. To maintain the gloss on non-textured finishes, protect with a fine automotive wax.
Removing stains, mildew, etc.
Stori’s state-of-the-art eCoat system creates an extremely durable and stain-resistant finish. Severe stains are unlikely but may require light sanding and touch-up paint.
Insect repellents & suntan lotions
Our eCoat system is also highly resistant to repellents and lotions, but to prevent discoloration, it’s a good idea to clean these substances off metal finishes when necessary.

Cushion fabrics
Cleaning and maintenance
Had too much fun on your cushions? Spot clean with a mild soap in lukewarm water (do not exceed 100°F). Thoroughly rinse with clean water to remove soap, then allow to air-dry completely before storing.

Same as above.
Insect repellents & suntan lotions
Insect repellents and suntan lotions don’t play well with fabrics. They can stain, cause fading and reduce the life of the fabric. To avoid damage, wipe clean with mild laundry detergent and warm water. Don’t use bleach or harsh detergents though. Ever.
